Donations to Sand Bluff Bird Observatory are always appreciated. Three funds currently exist to receive donations. The General Operating Fund helps to purchase nets and other equipment used in the bird banding process. Sand Bluff Bird Observatory has established an endowment fund with the Community Foundation of Northern Illinois. The endowment fund helps provide permanent support and additional financial stability for the ongoing programs and operations of Sand Bluff Bird Observatory. By contributing to the Sand Bluff Bird Observatory Endowment Fund you join SBBO in believing that people need to understand the natural world in order to preserve it. The Sand Bluff Bird Observatory Scholarship Fund provides financial support to individuals who will be attending a post-secondary institution to further their education in an environmental or conservation related field.
